September 25 Tekiah holds Sukkot teach-in on bilingual ed.

November 5 To Tekiah's disappointment, anti-bilingual education ballot measure passes statewide, depriving students and teachers of the use of important teaching methodologies. However, 56% of voters in Brookline and 51% or voters in Newton vote against the measure, and Tekiah hopes that our efforts in these heavily Jewish cities helped to influence the vote.

February 15 Tekiah joins Jewish contingent at historic NYC anti-war march, getting coverage on the front page of The Jewish Advocate.

March 5 Tekiah holds a "Visioning Assembly" to discuss possible next campaigns.

March 24 Tekiah works with other groups to organize Jewish contingent at huge Boston anti-war march, getting coverage from The Jewish Advocate and on the BBC (yes, that BBC) website.
